EFFECT OF WINGED BEEN SEED INOCULATION UPON NUTRIENT UPTAKE

Summary
The practical use of seed inoculation is analyzed
as a biotechnological method of intensification in winged bean culture. Emphasis
is laid on evaluation from the point of view of nutrient uptake, and uptake
differences, in the cultivars tested. System of evaluation on the basis of uptake
capacity was chosen for expressing the values of nutrient utilization by the
plants of this tropical legume. Attention is also drawn to the priority of using
advanced methods of plant nutrition, particularly in the tropical and subtropical
zone.
