Summary
In the experiment on broiler (ROSS and HYBRO hybrids
were used) the effect of enzyme (alkaline protease) on the rate of growth and
feed consumption per unit weight-.gain was observed.
The results of the experiment indicate that addition of enzyme protease caused
an insignificant increase in the growth and improved feed conversion. But the
addition of enzymic preparations to the moist mixed feeds prior to feeding is
more efficient than the addition of proteases to dry feeds.
The effect of protease is more pronounced when feeding the lower quality mixtures
based on cereals (particulary on barley).
