ECONOMIC SITUATION IN SELECTED DEVELOPING COUNTRIES AND THEIR FOREIGN INDEBTEDNESS

Abstract
Some developing nations are in deep economic trouble.
Ten countries of Africa, Asia and Latin America have been chosen as examples
of economies with stagnating or declining domestic product per head of population.
Their export is low and its growth curves are flat. On the other handr their
debt (per head of population) owed to foreign lenders grows rapidly. The current
trends give little hope of getting rid of the debts in the foreseeable future.
