USING GROWTH REGULATORS IN GINGER AND CURCUMA (PART I)
MOHAMED ENWER, PAVEL VALÍČEK
Abstract
Three species ofZingiberofficinale and Curcuma longa
were tested for the action of three Czech-made environment friendly growth regulators
on the weight of these plants' rhizomes.
Though the trial should be regarded as preliminary it can be generally said
that Katinol had a stronger effect. This product probably, among other effects,
stimulates the formation of the root system immediately after planting.
