DEVELOPING COUNTRIES: ECONOMIC ASPECTS OF DEVELOPMENT

Abstract
The key economic issues faced by developing countries
are addressed in brief, including relative backwardness levels, differences
in rates of growth, and dependence on advanced countries. Development theories
and concepts relating to the developing countries are characterised and the
possible ways of triggering economic growth are identified.
