Abstract
The effect of C-compositum, Premix-B, Aminosol and Combisol SE on growth of
broiler chickens (COBB 500) was investigated during the acute heat stress. The
broiler chickens were exposed to temperature of 35 - 40°C and relative humidity
of 30 - 40 %. The broilers were kept on the deep litter from wood shavings.
They were fed 42 days in conditions of acute heat stress. The chickens were
divided into 4 groups. An experimental Gl group obtained 0,1-0,4 g of Premix-B
/bird/day and 0,05 g - 0,1 g C-compositum /bird/day. An experimental G2 group
obtained 0,04 - 0,1 ml of Aminosol /bird/day and 0,02 - 0,04 ml of Combisol
SE /bird/day. An experimental G4 group obtained 0,1 - 0,15 g of C-compositum
/bird/day. G3 group was used as a control. Feeding mixtures BR1, BR2 a BR3 were
fed till 21st, 35th and 42n day of age, respectively. Broilers ofGl group reached
significantly higher weight gains, for 7,11% higher in comparison to the control
G3 group. Broilers in G4 group reached significantly lower weight gains, but
for 1,89 % higher in comparison to the control one. Broilers of Gl group reached
the best feed conversion, for'11,60% higher if compared to the control group,
which achieved the worst feed conversion among all groups. The highest mortality
occurred in chickens exposed to temperatures higher than 38°C.
